Easy (and somewhat healthy) tempura batter recipe

  • 2 Small mixing bowls


  • 2 Egg Whites
  • 1 Cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 2/3 Cup Cold Water
  • 1 Cup Cornstarch


  • Put egg whites in a bowl and beat them until frothy.
  • Slowly add the flour and cold water, slowly mixing.
    No need to mix extensively!
  • *Quick note: coat the vegetables or meat in cornstarch before you dip into your tempura batter
